Sorrento gives you quick access to both Port Phillip Bay and the open waters of Bass Strait, so we can pick the best fishing grounds depending on the day’s conditions. Locals know this stretch of the Mornington Peninsula coastline is one of Victoria’s most productive fishing areas.
Where We Fish
• Bay — fishing inside Port Phillip Bay, calm and protected waters.
• The Rip / The Heads — the entrance of Port Phillip Bay between Sorrento & Queenscliff, where bay waters meet the ocean.
• Offshore / Deep Sea — Bass Strait, outside the bay after passing through The Heads, where we target deeper-water species.

All our charters depart fro Sorrento Pier, right in the heart of town beside the Queenscliff-Sorrento Ferry terminal — the same pier where the ferry departs.
