📍 01 — Where do trips depart?
All trips leave from Sorrento Pier, VIC 3943 (Mornington Peninsula), right near the ferry terminal.

🚤 02 — Can you pick us up from Queenscliff?
For shared trips — no, only Sorrento.
For private charters (6 hrs+) ~ yes, we can pick up from Queenscliff for a $100 fee.

Otherwise, the Searoad Ferry from Queenscliff to Sorrento is quick, scenic, and drops you a few minutes from us.

🦑 04 — What fish can we catch?

Year-round: Snapper, Whiting, Flathead, Squid/Calamari, Gummy Sharks, Salmon.

Summer: Kingfish & Bluefin Tuna (when conditions allow).
We’ll always tailor the trip to what’s biting.

🐬 06 — Will we see dolphins or seals?
Often! Keep your camera handy — dolphins, seals, and seabirds love to make an appearance.

🚽 07 — Toilet on board?
Yep, we’ve got one.

🤮 08 — What if I get seasick?
Nothing ruins a good day on the water like seasickness — take a tablet the night before so you can focus on the fun, not the waves. A quirky old trick? Tape over the belly button (some swear by it!).

🎣 09 — Do I need a fishing licence?
Yes, if you’re 18–70 and not concession. Get one online in minutes via Vic Fisheries.
Under 18s, over 70s, and concession card holders are exempt.

🧢 10 — What should I bring?

• Warm layers + windproof jacket
• Hat & sunscreen
• Snacks & water
• Closed shoes
• If you can, bring along an esky for your catch. We’ll have bags on hand, but we’re cutting back where we can for the planet.

❌ 11 — What’s the cancellation policy?

• Cancel within 4 days → no refund, but you can reschedule.
• If we cancel for weather, you can rebook or get a refund.

🚗 12 — Parking?
Yes, paid parking at the pier. Free options up the hill near the Sorrento Pub (short walk).

♿ 14 — Accessibility?
Yes, we welcome guests with limited mobility/wheelchairs. Boarding is assisted, but toilet access is tight (narrow door + small step). Contact us before booking so we can help plan.

🐕 15 — Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, no. Boats aren’t safe/comfortable for dogs — limited space, slippery decks, and engine noise.

🌊 16 — Will we always catch fish?
We know the hotspots, but the sea has its moods. Sometimes it’s hot action, sometimes it’s a slow tease. Either way, it’s fresh air, good views, and the thrill of the chase.

🌞 17 — Is the sunset guaranteed on Sunset Cruises?
Nope, nature does what it wants. But you’ll always get a stunning evening out on the bay.

🐋 18 — Do you offer whale watching?
Not officially (needs a special license). But sometimes whales surprise us — and if they do, we watch respectfully from a safe distance.
