Bass Strait Wildlife Cruise
Looking for a private ocean cruise near Melbourne?
Enjoy exclusive access to our 41ft vessel and explore the spectacular coastline of Port Phillip Bay & Bass Strait, with the chance to spot whales, dolphins and seals.
We booked the boat privately with a few friends and had such a lovely afternoon. The coastline is absolutely beautiful from the water and heading out through the Heads was quite special...The boat was comfortable with plenty of space for everyone, and the whole experience felt very relaxed and unhurried. We brought some lunch and a few bottles of wine and just enjoyed the afternoon.A really beautiful way to see another side of the Peninsula. We’d happily do it again.
We booked a private Ocean Cruise with Sorrento Fishing Charters and had the best time. The conditions were perfect, we headed offshore into Bass Strait and honestly couldn't believe how much wildlife we saw. Dolphins everywhere, they were swimming alongside the boat for ages and heaps of seals just hanging around doing their thing. It felt like something out of a documentary.
Theo and Marine were legends. Super friendly, easy-going and happy to answer all our questions without making it feel like a tour script. You can tell they genuinely love being out on the water. The boat is big and comfy. if you're on the Mornington Peninsula and want to see the bay and Bass Strait from a completely different perspective, this is 100% worth doing. It felt authentic, relaxed and really personal.
We'll definitely be back. Thanks again for such a memorable day!
