Arrival

Be there 15 minutes early. Trips leave on time. If you miss a shared charter, no refund or booking credit will be provided.

Safety

Your safety is our priority. By boarding, you acknowledge the inherent risks of fishing and boating and agree to follow all crew instructions. Sorrento Fishing Charters accepts no liability for injuries or incidents resulting from a failure to follow those instructions.

Cancellations

• If we cancel (due to unsafe weather or minimum numbers not being met): Choose a full refund or reschedule.
• If you cancel before departure: You'll receive a booking credit valid for 12 months.
• If you cancel within 48 hours of departure or do not show up: No refund, reschedule or booking credit. You're welcome to transfer your booking to someone else if you're unable to attend.
• Gift vouchers: Non-refundable, but may be rescheduled with 7+ days' notice.
  

Shared Charter Flexibility

We aim to offer as many shared charter dates as possible. However, as a small owner-operated business, shared charters may occasionally be rescheduled to accommodate a private charter if minimum numbers have not yet been reached. We will always provide as much notice as possible and offer an alternative available date.

Travel & Accommodation

We recommend booking flexible travel and accommodation. We are not responsible for any costs incurred if a trip is cancelled or rescheduled.

Medical Conditions

Please let us know before departure if you have any medical conditions, mobility issues or require special assistance.

Public Holidays (VIC)

+$20 per person, payable on board (not charged online).

Recreational Fishing Licence

Required by law for anyone aged 18–69 (unless exempt). It is your responsibility to hold a valid licence before the trip. You can purchase one online in just a few minutes.

Raw Fish

If you choose to eat raw fish on board, you do so at your own risk. Even freshly caught fish carries a small food safety risk.

Alcohol

Cans only – no glass. No alcohol for anyone under 18. Intoxicated or disruptive behaviour may result in the trip being terminated without refund or booking credit.

Equipment

Quality rods and reels are provided. Lost or damaged equipment due to negligence may incur a $200 replacement fee.
