They stayed right by our side, guiding us through the battle until the fish were on deck. We left with bags full of perfectly filleted tuna… and a very happy wife!

We booked a private fishing charter unfortunately the weather turned bad, so the crew rescheduled us to make sure we could enjoy the trip properly. The next weekend the weather was even worse, not their fault, and instead of pushing us out in rough conditions, they offered a full refund.

What a friendly, caring crew! This is another level of kids’ fishing charter. We took our two children (6 and 9 years old) out on the Kids Shared Charter from Sorrento Fishing Charters and it was hands down one of the best family fishing experiences on the Mornington Peninsula. Captain Theo and the crew made everything super fun and relaxed, perfect for kids who’ve never fished before AND for those who already love it.

From the moment we boarded at Sorrento Pier, the boat was clean and well-equipped, the rods, reels and tackle were perfect for little hands, and the crew made sure everyone felt safe out on Bass Strait & Port Phillip Bay. We spotted dolphins and seals, the kids got to cast lines, and even with the cold wind, the warm layers, sunscreen, and snacks we brought made the 4-hour trip comfortable.

What stood out most was how much attention the crew paid to the kids: helping them with bait, showing them how to reel in a fish, celebrating their catches. By the end of the charter, their little hearts were full of fishy fun. We caught flathead, snapper, and even a small surprise fish that thrilled them to bits.

Hands down the best fishing charter I’ve been on around the Mornington Peninsula!!We headed out from Sorrento into Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait the boat was solid and the crew were legends, really friendly and helpful. Everyone was onto fish, we caught snapper, flathead and a couple of big ones that made the day….. If you’re after a fun trip with a crew that knows where the fish are biting, this is the one.!

Highly skilled captain to get us safely embark in tricky Port Phillip bay conditions. Take us through the channel into beautiful fishing grounds of Barwon heads. Caught some big snapper. Helpfull and knowledgeable deckhand.

My son and I joined Theo and the crew on a Bay fishing adventure and it delivered what was promised. We had a greta day fishing, with lots of fish. Theo was extremely accomodating and welcoming, he did his outmost to look for fish and make sure everybody onboard was happy with their catch. The boat was clean and vey spacious for the ten people onboard. I would highly recommend the charter and we will be back to book for a deep sea excursion. Thank Theo.

In awe of the Ocean I sailed aboard the Timaru to fulfil my mission. I CAUGHT 3 FISH !! my first SNAPPER, A Sweep and a Barracuda.. we all caught fish that day as Captain Theo picked great spots in Bass straight ...next mission to catch a tuna. . I was super exited and thrilled with the trip. I highly recommend everyone come along with the kids and live the Big blue fishing dream. I will definately be beck for more, after all there are plenty of fish in the sea.

Best fishing charter i have been on, and best fishing experience. Theo has it on lock with his helping hand scotty made the experience enjoyable and their knowledge for the sea is 2nd to none.

I took my two boys (aged 7 and 8) for their first fishing adventure and they haven’t stopped talking about it. They were thrilled to catch flathead, salmon and even hooked a banjo shark! On top of the fishing we saw a pod of dolphins and visited the seals. Couldn’t recommend Theo and Marine highly enough. We will be back.
