How to Get to Sorrento Pier from Melbourne

Heading down from Melbourne for a fishing charter? Sorrento Pier is around 1.5 hours from Melbourne, right at the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula.
It’s where all our shared fishing charters depart and the main departure point for our private fishing charters.
Getting to Sorrento Pier from Melbourne
From Melbourne, follow the M1 towards Mornington Peninsula, then continue south towards Sorrento.
Allow around 1.5 hours from Melbourne, and a little extra on weekends, public holidays and during summer when the Peninsula gets busy.

Parking at Sorrento Pier
Parking is available around Sorrento and near the foreshore.
We recommend arriving early, especially during summer and on weekends, as parking close to the pier can fill quickly.
Once parked, make your way down Sorrento Pier, where you’ll meet us for your charter.
